The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals and public safety providers who need to know how to perform high-quality CPR and other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

This course teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide effective chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students will also learn the importance of teamwork and communication during resuscitation, including the use of the AHA Chain of Survival.

Strong Heart CPR & First aid, is a proud provider of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR Course. Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and other safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. The recommended age for this cource is 11 - 15 years old. This course prepares participants for babysitting work by practicing hands-on skills with manikins and learning skills in scenarios. The skills cover first-aid, diaper changing, feeding infants and children, rescue breathing, emergency procedures, safety, and includes First Aid and Pediatric CPR. Marketing and best babysitting business practices are also covered in the course material. Upon successfully completing this course, participants will receive a certification in Babysitting, Pediatric CPR / AED, and First-Aid.

Please keep in mind that our Instructors are in high demand and we value their time greatly. We do not allow cancellations once you are enrolled. You may reschedule if something should arise and you are unable to make the scheduled time and date of your training. Please contact us within 24 hours of the class so that we can rebook your reservation at no extra cost to you.
 
If you "no-show" for your class, there are no refunds.  You can reschedule your class with a $15.00 "reschedule fee."
 
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your class, we will ask that you reschedule to another class with a $15.00 "reschedule fee."
 
If you try to attend the class without completion of the online portion, or you do not have a current CPR certification, you will be asked to reschedule to another date and time with a $15.00 "reschedule fee".

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities.
